This project will explore how and why community landowners in Scotland were able to respond so effectively to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The work will be based on case studies that suggest that community landowners had the trust of their communities and the systems, process and resources to take managed risks to support their communities’ pandemic responses. The aim will be to develop a set of lessons and learning points that can be shared with communities across Scotland and be used to influence policy change.
