About
The project will highlight true stories, emerging priorities and community impact of the pandemic for people experiencing multiple disadvantages.
The cohort will include BAME women and people with experience of homelessness, addiction, women in the criminal justice system, long-term unemployment, sexual exploitation and domestic abuse; people disproportionately affected by the crisis but least likely to have a say in how to move forward. Changing Lives (CL) and Centre for Public Impact UK (CPI) will jointly deliver the work which will conduct in-depth listening sessions with up to 150 people, including analysing narratives and sense-making. The project will share the voices of the “traditionally unheard” communities with decision makers through CPI and CL government networks including Local Authorities, Devolved Combined Authorities, Police and Crime Commissioners and Central Government.
