About
Covid-19 has exposed the vulnerability across our society and the ongoing effects of systemic racism and deprivation.
Conversations about inequality and racism have been made more possible nationally, but have not taken place at a local level. This project will involve a series of workshops with young people, voluntary/public sector leaders, and residents of the Druids Heath and Balsall Heath areas in Birmingham. The workshops will use ‘three horizons’ mapping and psychotherapeutic facilitation to enable participants to share feelings, with the overall aim of helping local people to see the COVID-19 pandemic as a catalyst for addressing entrenched inequalities. Learning from the workshops will be shared through established partner organisations.
